News bites: Supreme Court to weigh in on health law challenge at 10

Brad Joondeph over at the ACA Litigation Blog explains why he thinks the Supreme Court this morning will turn down a request to expedite review of Virginia's challenge against the healthcare reform law. 

Rep. Louise Slaughter (D-N.Y.) reiterated her call for lawmakers to restrict antibiotic use in animal agriculture after a new study found that one in four meat and poultry samples contained antibiotic-resistant bacteria. 

Tea Party candidate Renee Ellmers (R-N.C.) denied on ABC's "This Week" that seniors will end up paying more for Medicare under the GOP's budget plan, despite what the Congressional Budget Office has to say about it.
