Medicare official leaves agency

The former director of the office responsible for overseeing the Medicare Advantage program is leaving the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services after a 30-year career. Abby Block's last day with CMS is June 30, according to an internal CMS e-mail obtained by The Hill. Block is the former director of the Center for Beneficiary Choices.
