Rep. Ruppersberger spotted in a wheelchair

A sharply dressed Rep. Dutch Ruppersberger was spotted in a wheelchair this week — the product of a recent knee-replacement surgery, his spokeswoman said.
The Maryland Democrat is able to walk, said Jaime Lennon, but has trouble with long distances. He's doing physical therapy daily.
"Yes, the Capitol is accessible," Lennon added. "He's had no trouble getting around."
No word on what contributed to the need for surgery.
