Alabama gubernatorial candidate talks healthcare reform

By Julian Pecquet - 06/21/10 04:21 PM ET

Robert Bentley, a Republican candidate for Alabama governor, seemed of two minds when talking about healthcare this weekend. Bentley will face Bradley Byrne in a July 13 runoff.

Bentley, a dermatologist, told a Madison County Republican Men's Club breakfast this weekend that the federal government is "intruding" with its healthcare reform bill, the Huntsville Times reports. But later he acknowledged that "big insurance companies are just as bad."
