White House will take oil spill questions on YouTube tonight

The White House is taking to YouTube after President Barack Obama's speech Tuesday night to answer the public's questions on the administration's response to the Gulf oil spill.

Fifteen minutes after the president delivers his 8 p.m. speech on the Gulf oil spill, White House press secretary Robert Gibbs will answer questions submitted and voted on by the public via the White House's official YouTube channel.

This is not the first time the White House has answered questions submitted by the public on YouTube, but, unlike the online town hall held last year, the questions for Tuesday will be submitted in writing via Google Moderator, not by video. Many of the more popular questions deal with holding BP accountable.
