RFI: Murderer bragged about act on Facebook

By Sara Jerome - 07/06/10 06:09 PM ET

A 17-year-old in France was taken into custody after he bragged on his Facebook profile about killing someone, according to Radio France Internationale.

He “published a description of the murder on his Facebook profile. He also told his sister about it and said he had published the account to boast, not to relieve any feelings of guilt,” the report says.

His sister alerted the police, and he will be tried for murder. Authorities found the body of a woman in her 40s where police allege the boy told them he had left her.
