Obama to visit Facebook headquarters

President Obama will hold a "Facebook Live" townhall event to be streamed over the social-networking site. 

The event will be held at Facebook's headquarters in Palo Alto, Calif., featuring chief executive Mark Zuckerberg and COO Sheryl Sandberg, a member of Obama's Council on Jobs and Competitiveness.

The topic of discussion, according to the Facebook announcement: "President Obama will connect with Americans across the country to discuss the tough choices we must all make in order to put our economy on a more responsible fiscal path, while still investing in areas like innovation that will help our economy grow and make America more competitive."

Facebook users can submit questions by posting them to event invitation. The townhall is scheduled for April 20.
