Bono Mack to hold data-theft hearing

Rep. Mary Bono Mack (R-Calif.) has scheduled a hearing on data theft in the aftermath of a massive security breach to Sony's PlayStation Network that allowed hackers to access the private information of account holders. 

Bono Mack, chairwoman of the Energy and Commerce subcommittee on Trade, is also preparing legislation to enhance data privacy protections. 

Witnesses for the May 4 hearing have not yet been announced.
