Obama doesn’t let daughters on Facebook

By Brendan Sasso - 12/14/11 11:18 AM ET

President Obama and the first lady told People magazine that they dont allow their daughters on Facebook.

Why would we want to have a whole bunch of people who we dont know knowing our business? That doesnt make much sense, they said in the interview.

When Michelle Obama noted that Malia is only 13 and Sasha is 10, the president laughed and said, Well see how they feel in four years.

Because of regulations under the Childrens Online Privacy Protection Act, Facebook bans children younger than 13 from using its site.
