News bites: Google hasn't made Maps app for iPhone 5 yet

Google Executive Chairman Eric Schmidt said the company hasn't made any moves to provide a Google Maps app for Apple's new iPhone 5 yet, Reuters reports. 

Analysts tell The New York Times that worker unrest in China, like at the Foxconn plant this week, is growing more common as workers gain awareness about their rights.

YouTube-funded show "Recipe Rehab" is making the leap offline and will run on ABC stations, showing the online video sharing site is attracting top talent, according to The Wall Street Journal

Twitter is in the early stages of interviewing Hollywood executive Peter Chernin for a seat on its board, AllThingsD reports. 

Samsung is arguing that jury misconduct is one of the reasons why a federal judge should set aside a jury's verdict to award Apple $1 billion, according to the San Jose Mercury News.
