News bites: Accusations against Chinese telecoms heighten tensions

A congressional report declaring two Chinese telecom companies a national security risk has heightened tensions between the countries, Reuters writes.

The Wall Street Journal notes that even before the report, China's Huawei already had trouble completing deals

Facebook proposed a new deal to settle a lawsuit over its "sponsored stories" ads, according to Reuters. 

Bloomberg profiles Twitter's chief financial officer, who is looking to avoid Facebook's fate as the company prepares to go public.

The Wall Street Journal looks at facial recognition software in Korean malls.
