News bites: Trade judge sides with Apple in Samsung dispute

A U.S. International Trade Commission judge ruled that Samsung infringed on some of Apple's smartphone patents, Reuters reports. 

Zynga is laying off workers and struggling to survive, but the game maker beat forecasts for the quarter, The New York Times writes.

Facebook stock soared 19 percent in one day after the company reported strong revenue growth, The Wall Street Journal reports.

Sprint posted a smaller-than-expected loss, Bloomberg reports.

Windows 8 could be a make-or-break moment for Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer, according to the AP.
