News bites: China blocks New York Times

By Brendan Sasso - 10/26/12 09:21 AM ET

China blocked access to The New York Times website after the newspaper published a story describing the wealth of the country's prime minister.

Apple's revenue was up 27 percent from last year, but the company warned that profits may dip during the holidays, the AP reports.

Google Chairman Eric Schmidt is headed to Paris to argue against a proposal to charge the company for linking, the Quartz writes.

Comcast's profits in the quarter more than doubled, according to Bloomberg.
