News bites: NBC Sports and Yahoo ink content deal

NBC Sports and Yahoo have inked a content deal that will boost their sports coverage online and on the air, the AP reports.

A proposal for a United Nations treaty submitted by Russia, China, the United Arab Emirates and others could enable countries to block websites within their borders and change the way domain names are assigned, according to Reuters. 

Google significantly cut its tax rate in 2011 by moving $9.8 billion in revenues into a Bermuda shell company, Bloomberg writes. 

People will be unable to view Instagram photos within their Twitter feeds after Facebook ended support for the microblogging site this weekend, CNET reports.

Google is battling to become the dominant Web browser people use on their mobile phones and tablets, The New York Times writes.
