By Jennifer Martinez - 12/26/12 10:22 AM ET

Iran said it was hit by a spate of cyberattacks in recent months, and state news reports suggest the attacks stemmed from the United States and Israel, The New York Times reports.

Netflix said its streaming video service was disrupted after one of Amazon's Web service centers suffered an outage on Christmas Eve, Reuters writes.

A Washington Post investigation found that the healthcare sector is vulnerable to hacker attacks and needs to update its cybersecurity defenses.

Apple, Amazon, Facebook and Google will battle to claim the top spot in search and hardware this upcoming year, The Wall Street Journal reports.

Google's software suite for businesses is giving Microsoft some serious competition and gaining traction with larger companies, according to The New York Times.
