News bites: Huawei partner reportedly offered to sell HP equipment to Iranian mobile company

An Iranian partner of Chinese telecom company Huawei offered to sell embargoed Hewlett-Packard computer equipment to Iran's largest mobile phone operator in 2010, according to Reuters. 

Foursquare said it will implement updates to its privacy policies at the end of January, which will include displaying people's full names across the location-based app, CNET writes.

Pakistan lifted its ban on Google-owned YouTube for three minutes on Saturday, then reinstated it after some critics said there was other offensive content on the video-sharing website, The New York Times reports.

Facebook's underwriters and investment banks that sold the social network's shares to the public have consistently recommended that investors buy its stock, leading some to question the securities firms, The Wall Street Journal writes.
