News bites: Apple's stock falls after reporting a flat profit

Apple's stock fell after it reported a flat profit for the quarter but said it sold 28 percent more iPhones and 48 percent more iPads, The New York Times reports.

The International Trade Commission is set to review a key decision in the patent battle between Apple and Samsung, Reuters says. 

AT&T's U-verse has been down for days for several customers throughout Southern states, leaving them without TV, Internet or phone service, CNET reports.

A petition posted to a White House website calls for scaling back the United States' funding of the International Telecommunications Union, according to The New York Times.

The biopic on Steve Jobs starring Ashton Kutcher will open in theaters on April 19, which is the 37th anniversary of Apple's founding, The Hollywood Reporter writes.
