News bites: Google unveils map of North Korea

Google constructed a map of North Korea on its Maps application with help from crowdsourcing, The Wall Street Journal reports.

Streaming music services like Spotify and Pandora have shaken up the royalties system, and artists say they only get a few cents each time their songs are played online, according to The New York Times

The Washington Post's Editorial Board is calling for Congress to update a 1986 email privacy law.

With CEO Marissa Mayer at the helm, Yahoo reported positive fourth-quarter results and beat Wall Street expectations by 30 percent, The New York Times writes.

A report from a security software maker found that bugs in widely used networking technology leave millions of computers, printers and storage drives vulnerable to hacker attacks over the Internet, Reuters reports.
