News bites: RIM to introduce BlackBerry 10 smartphones

Research in Motion will unveil its new BlackBerry 10 line of smartphones on Wednesday, which it hopes will improve its standing in the market, according to The New York Times.

A U.S. federal court ruled that Samsung did not willfully infringe on some of Apple's patents, preventing Apple's attempt to increase the damages it will be awarded, Reuters reports.

Facebook is in the process of re-engineering itself into a mobile business, The Wall Street Journal writes.

Google's YouTube is preparing to launch paid subscriptions to individual channels on the video-sharing website, AdAge reports.
