News bites: EU releases proposed cybercrime reporting rules

The European Union's proposed cybercrime reporting rules have raised concerns from some firms, according to the BBC.

Symantec and Microsoft have teamed up to crack down on a global cybercrime operation, Reuters reports.

Idaho is the latest state to apply a sales tax to online cloud subscription services, according to The Wall Street Journal.

Google has struggled to get security updates rolled out to long-time Android phone users, The Washington Post writes.
