News bites: China says US hacking report lacks 'technical proof'

China's Defense Ministry says Mandiant's claims that one of its military units is behind a series of hacking attacks "lacks technical proof," Reuters reports.

The White House is poised to release a new report Wednesday that suggests steps it would take in response to cyber espionage campaigns carried out by other countries, the AP writes.

Yahoo will unveil a redesigned homepage on Wednesday, The New York Times says.

Dronemakers are looking to expand their business in the U.S. as budget cuts loom, according to The Wall Street Journal.

Malware attacks against Apple, Facebook and Twitter are being linked to an Eastern European ring of hackers, Bloomberg reports.
