News bites: Apple CEO Cook may testify in e-book case

Apple CEO Tim Cook may have to testify in the Justice Department's lawsuit over alleged e-book price-fixing, Reuters reports. 

Harvard University faculty members were stunned to learn that administrators secretly searched their emails to discover who had leaked information about a cheating scandal to the media, The New York Times writes.

Iran has blocked a tool that allowed users to get around the government's Internet filter, according to Reuters. 

Lockheed Martin and Raytheon want access to classified government data on cyber threats, Bloomberg explains. 

Despite tremendous wealth in Silicon Valley, more of its residents are slipping into poverty, The Associated Press writes.
