News bites: Apple hit with patent infringement suit

Intertrust Technologies sued Apple for patent infringement on Wednesday, The Wall Street Journal reports.

The cyberattacks that hit some of South Korea's banks and TV broadcasters originated from an IP address in China, but it's still unclear who was behind the Internet disruption, The New York Times reports.

South Korea, the world's most wired economy, is vulnerable to cyberattacks stemming from its neighbors in the region, Reuters writes.

Google-owned YouTube said it has 1 billion unique visitors to the video-sharing website every month, according to Reuters. 

Hewlett-Packard held off an attempt by shareholders to oust two of its longest-serving directors from the company's board, the AP reports.
