News bites: Twitter files IPO, seeking to raise $1 billion

Twitter filed its IPO Thursday, revealing that the company plans to raise $1 billion in its public offering and had $254 million in revenue and $69.3 million in losses in the first half of 2013, according to The Wall Street Journal.

Adobe was hit by hackers, who gained access to the company's 2.9 million customers’ personal data and stole software source code, The New York Times reports.

Members of the hacking group Anonymous were indicted by a federal grand jury on charges that they carried out cyberattacks against websites, the AP reports.
