Apple leaves U.S. Chamber of Commerce

The Chamber's stance on climate change has prompted tech giant Apple end its membership with the business group.

Apple's vice president for worldwide government affairs Catherine Novelli sent a letter to the Chamber's chief executive Tom Donahue, saying Apple would prefer that the Chamber take a "more progressive stance on this critical issue."

Novelli said Apple grew frustrated that the Chamber does not support regulating greenhouse gas emissions.
