Revamped jobs site goes live today

By Kim Hart - 01/25/10 12:22 PM ET

The Office of Personnel Management is planning to unveil its newly designed USAjobs.gov website today.

After extensive research and study, OPM says the revamped site will be more user-friendly, making it easier to search for and apply for federal jobs.

USAjobs.gov is the official job posting portal for government agencies. The Department of Veterans Affairs and Veterans Health Administration currently shows more than 1,400 postings, for example.

I'll bring you more details when the new site goes live.
