Obama hiring a tweeter

By Eric Zimmermann - 02/16/10 06:07 PM ET

President Obama's political operation, Organizing for America, is hiring a "social networks manager" whose primary responsibilities will be maintaining the group's Twitter, Facebook and MySpace accounts.

OFA recently posted the job notice to its website, warning applicants that they should be "ready to work hard; this isn't a 9-5 sort of job."

The Obama campaign won plaudits for its use of social networking in 2008. Those interested in tweeting for the president can apply here.
