Some scrumptious desserts are up for grabs in a bipartisan wager on the outcome of the NCAA men's basketball championship game.

Kentucky Republican Sens. Rand Paul and Mitch McConnell are offering up Kentucky Derby Pies, a chocolate and nut confection cooked by Kern’s Kitchen in the Bluegrass State, if the University of Kentucky Wildcats are victorious Monday night.

If the University of Connecticut Huskies win the tourny, Connecticut Democrat Sens. Chris Murphy and Richard Blumenthal will settle the bet with Stew Leonard’s brownies and UCONN Dairy Bar ice cream.

“I look forward to enjoying desserts after Kentucky beats UConn,” Paul said in a statement.

Blumenthal said of the wager, “I’ll be sure to eat a light dinner so I can save room for derby pie.”
