Gov candidate spotted at Cirque du Soleil

SPOTTED: Proving a politician’s work is never done, Maryland Lieutenant Gov. Anthony Brown (D), a gubernatorial candidate, was eyed smiling and shaking hands during an intermission Thursday of the Cirque du Soleil show “Amaluna.”

Brown, who we hear was joined by his family, was among the VIP crowd at the premiere of the fantastical spectacle at National Harbor, Md.

Between clapping and hand-shaking, Brown’s fingers may have been tired by the end of the night. The body-bending, artistic circus performance received a standing ovation from the audience.
