A Republican lawmaker on Wednesday remembered the 51st anniversary of the death of rock and roll legend Buddy Holly.
a Texas native, died at the age of 23 in a plane crash along with two
other rock musician. Their sudden death is known among fans as "they
day the music died."
Rep. Randy Neugebauer (Texas) tweeted:
Today marks the anniversary of the day the music died and the loss of a true icon of rock and roll music and fellow West Texan, Buddy Holly.
