Forget roadwork or weather advisories — a traffic sign in California is instructing commuters to “vote Donald TrumpDonald TrumpTrump pledges federal help after deadly southern storms Meetings crowd Trump's first Monday in office Clinton: Photos from women’s march ‘awe-inspiring’ MORE.”
An official for Caltrans, the state’s transportation agency, tells local station KABC-TV that one of its signs in Corona, Calif., was reprogrammed last week to display a pro-Trump message touting the GOP presidential front-runner.
A commuter captured a video of the sign, which flashed the message to freeway drivers: “Inland Empire supports Donald Trump. Merry Xmas. Vote Donald Trump.”
KABC reports that the sign was fixed and back to displaying its original traffic message on Sunday.
