The spray-painted star was cleaned off as soon as the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce noticed the image.
This isn't the first time Trump's name has been associated with an image of a swastika.
In December, law enforcement officials investigated reports in Georgia of swastikas featuring an image of Trump in the center.
During his campaign, Trump has called for a ban on Muslims entering the United States. He also called for a measure to put some mosques under surveillance following the attacks in Paris and San Bernardino, Calif.
Anne Frank's step-sister wrote in a piece published in Newsweek last month that Trump is "acting like another Hitler."
