Dating site launches for Bernie Sanders lovers

Fans of the Democratic presidential candidate who are hoping to "Feel the Bern" of love can head over to "Do you love Bernie? Do you need a lover?” the dating site asks.

This comes after Tinder briefly banned two Sanders supporters from the popular dating app earlier this month because they were accused of harassing dozens of other members with pro-Sanders messages.

Now there is a dating site exclusively for Sanders supporters. crashed Wednesday after administrators said it “went viral” and reached 1,000 members “in less than an hour,” but they are working to restore it.

The dating site has already attracted more than 5,800 members on Facebook who are looking for a like-minded love connection.

The site urges members to be respectful of each other and live by the motto “what would Bernie do?”

“This entails no harassing people over gender or sexual preference, race, or appearance,” according to the website’s rules. “Support each other, we’re all Bernie lovers.”
