“I’m not going to see it,” Brzezinski told The Hill during a recent interview in his office at the Center for Strategic and International Studies. “I’ll tell you why: I don’t like to see movies that deal with historical events which are not imaginary regarding which I know a little bit. Because it really then distorts my recollection of these events.”
That’s the same reason he won’t be seeing Steven Spielberg’s “Lincoln” or Kathryn Bigelow’s “Zero Dark Thirty,” he said. But Brzezinski makes it clear he’s not criticizing the film.
“Everyone tells me — including my colleagues — that ‘Argo’ is a very good movie,” he said. “And very accurate.”
