Roger Daltrey dines with Churchill's grandson ahead of Capitol dedication

SPOTTED: The Who’s Roger Daltrey and Winston Churchill’s grandson, Nicholas Soames, chowing down at Rasika West End in Washington Tuesday night, on the eve of a ceremony at the Capitol honoring the former British prime minister.

ITK hears the pair was joined in a private room at the Indian fine dining spot by a handful of folks and stayed for more than two hours.

Daltrey and Soames joined Secretary of State John Kerry, Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio), Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.), and several other lawmakers at Wednesday’s dedication of a bust of Churchill in Statuary Hall. The famed English rocker performed “Stand by Me” and The Who’s 1971 hit “Won’t Get Fooled Again” at the ceremony.
