Kerry's new pooch makes DC debut

Secretary of State John Kerry’s new pooch is making his D.C. debut. The former Massachusetts senator tweeted a photo Monday of the latest addition to the Kerry household.

Kerry picked up the Labrador puppy late last month in Maine, after the canine underwent months of training, according to the Bangor Daily News. The elevator-sniffing companion's name was reportedly inspired by Ben Franklin.
