Chaffetz asks: Where's the snow?

Rep. Jason Chaffetz says the nation’s capital is full of weather wimps.

While the Washington area was estimated to get as much as half a foot of snow on Tuesday, resulting in the closure of federal offices for nonemergency employees, the Utah Republican noted the lack of precipitation.

Chaffetz wrote on Twitter (complete with photographic evidence):

Winter weather advisories around the District were canceled by Tuesday afternoon.

The average annual snowfall in Washington is about 15.5 inches, while Utah averages about 41 inches of snow each year.
