Gen. Odierno: I could play for the Giants — for one play

The Army's chief of staff says he could play for the New York Giants — for one play.

In an interview earlier this week, Gen. Raymond Odierno acknowledged on "Fox and Friends" that he's got some football skills. But he's not going pro.

Host Brian Kilmeade told Odierno that the Giants, who are having a tough season, could use him.

Odierno deadpanned, "I'd probably be good for about one play."

The general, 59, recently was honored with the National Football Foundation Distinguished American Award.

He was recruited to play at the Military Academy at West Point, but knee injuries cut his football career short.
