Screech turns heads at annual Bonjean party

Dustin Diamond, who is best known as Screech on "Saved by the Bell," was this year's celebrity guest at Ron and Sara Bonjean's annual party Saturday night.

Ron Bonjean, a former GOP congressional leadership aide, threw everyone a bit of a curve last week when he told ITK that the guest had something to do with "The Wonder Years," the 1990s ABC show.

Many on Twitter started making their guesses: Fred Savage, Dan Lauria, Danica McKellar. No, no, no.

Diamond, who did appear on "The Wonder Years," posed for photos with many guests Saturday night.

Other highlights of the high-profile party included people dressed up as Elvis impersonators, Austin Powers, dictators (think Sasha Baron Cohen) and a budget troll.

The Bonjeans' home in Alexandria, Va., was filled with many influential journalists, consultants and congressional aides.

Spotted in the crowd: Rick Klein, Doug Heye, Jackie Kucinich and Jared Allen, Betsy Fischer Martin and Jonathan Martin, Reid Wilson, Ed O'Keefe, John Bresnahan, Brianna Keilar, Jo Maney, Brad Dayspring, Megan Whittemore, Patrick Tutwiler, Matt Dornic, Lauren Zelt, Christina Robbins, Shannon Bream, Jenna Gibson, Alex Finland, Stephanie Livingston Miller, Patrick O'Connor, Stuart Roy, and The Hill's Emily Goodin, Justin Sink and Cameron Joseph.
