"Saturday Night Live" mocked the scandals surrounding New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie (R) during its first live show of 2014.
The show opened late Saturday with a spoof of CNN host Piers Morgan interviewing Christie.
Bobby Moynihan, playing the New Jersey governor, said he was a “busy man” who has to “work out five times a year” when asked about “bridgegate.”
He also and threatened to delay Morgan’s commute after being questioned about allegations of threats to withhold hurricane relief funds unless the mayor of Hoboken approved a redevelopment plan supported by the governor’s office.
