The 19-year old was arrested in Miami Beach early Thursday morning and was charged with drunk driving, resisting arrest and driving with an expired license.

According to arrest documents, a police officer saw Bieber drag racing the yellow Lamborghini he was driving against a red Ferrari in a residential area of Miami Beach.

Bieber has had a cozy relationship with the Obama White House. In 2010, he performed at the White House Easter Egg Roll.

President Obama later had White House officials coordinate a meeting between Bieber and a 14-year-old girl whose father had died in the 9/11 attacks on the World Trade Center. Obama met the girl at an event in New York City and pledged to make the connection.

In 2012, the president and his daughters attended a Christmas concert featuring the pop singer.
