The marijuana editor at The Denver Post said Sunday that legalized pot has changed the smell of two major cities in Colorado.
Baca said, "If you went back a couple years in the metro area and took a big whiff in downtown Denver, downtown Boulder, you know, it would have been your average city. But now, I think if you're at a Bronco game, if you're in downtown Denver, you can actually smell the difference."
Baca, who said he smokes pot recreationally and for medicinal reasons, said the biggest challenge for federal and state officials is to keep marijuana out of the hands of children and preventing pot purchased in Colorado from crossing state lines.
