A supporter of New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie (R) asked the governor on Thursday to destroy all of his Bruce Springsteen CDs.

“Would you please destroy all of your Bruce Springsteen CDs? He’s not a friend of your’s, governor,” a constituent told Christie at the first townhall of his second term.

Christie said all of his Springsteen music is stored on his iPhone anyway, so he could get rid of the CDs.

The governor, a loyal fan of “the Boss,” said he’s attended 132 of his concerts.

“I don’t do drugs, I don’t drink,” explained Christie who goes to the shows for fun.

The governor has met Springsteen before. "He actually told me we were friends," Christie said. "Hard to let that go."

In January, Springsteen mocked Christie for the ongoing bridge scandal in a parody song performed with Jimmy Fallon on his late-night show.
