Maryland Gov. Martin O'Malley (D) and Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe (D) on Friday were seen enjoying cocktails with friends at nopa Kitchen + Bar, according to a spy.
Johnson and Angelos, two Democratic donors, stayed for about an hour-and-a-half and left at 7 p.m. O'Malley and McAuliffe, in town for the National Governors Association winter meeting, arrived at 6:30 p.m. and left around 7:30 p.m.
We're not sure what O'Malley and McAuliffe talked about, but it likely wasn't about a 2016 endorsement. McAuliffe, who is very close to Bill and Hillary Clinton, has made it known he will back the former first lady if she launches a 2016 bid for the White House.
