One of Lewis’s congressional staffers, Rachelle O’Neil, posted the clip of him dancing and singing on YouTube. Lewis then linked to the video on Twitter.

O'Neil prompted him to start singing, which he did.

“I’m happy … I’m happy …,” Lewis sang. “This is my song.”

“Break it down, congressman,” O’Neil said.

The congressman broke it down.

“Nothing can bring me down!” he said.

For the fourth week, “Happy” has topped Billboard’s Hot 100 chart. Williams performed his Oscar-nominated song at the Academy Awards earlier this month.

He originally produced the song for the soundtrack of the “Despicable Me” sequel and has released a music video for it that has gone viral in the last few months.
