Ted Cruz sorry to lose ‘vampire vote'

“Well, I'm sorry to have lost the vampire vote, but am astonished (and amused) that HBO is suggesting that hard-core leftists are blood-sucking fiends,” Cruz wrote on his Facebook page.

On Sunday, Cruz said HBO aired a “misogynist and profanity-ridden episode” featuring Texas Republicans being murdered when they attended a “Ted Cruz fundraiser” at the George W. Bush presidential library.

The Republican said on his Facebook page said of all the places he thought he would never be mentioned, “True Blood” is near the top of his list.

The famously raunchy series, which is in its seventh season, is about vampires coexisting with humans in a Louisiana town.
