Rep. Brady: I won't shave my head

By Christina Wilkie - 11/12/09 01:31 PM ET

After losing a bet with Rep. John Hall (D-N.Y.) over who would win the World Series, Rep. Robert Brady (D-Pa.) promised to shave a mohawk into his head. Now it looks like he's backing out.

A Brady spokesman told TMZ.com on Wednesday, "The Congressman will not be shaving his head."

The purported reason? Brady doesn't consider the mostly-bald Hall to be a worthy opponent for a bet centered around hair, given his lack of it.

TMZ has set up an online poll on the issue, and it's not looking good for Brady. Of the more than 16,000 votes cast so far, 93 percent think Brady should follow through on the bet and shave his head; 7 percent would give him a pass.
