Actor Jon Voight will make appearance in Alexandria Sunday

Jon Voight, actor and father of actress Angelina Jolie, will give a politically conservative commentary in Alexandria at the Birchmere Dance Hall on Sunday. Voight will be the special guest at an event with Chip Taylor, an up-and-coming country singer, and musician Kendel Carson.
It's not Voight's first foray into politics. In September 2008, he appeared in a video at the Republican National Convention asking viewers to support the military.
Tickets to the event are $35.
