Life-sized puppets to be in front of Department of Energy tomorrow morning

Life-sized puppets dressed up as Mr. Burns from The Simpsons, along with the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and Future from A Christmas Carol, will be in a street theater performance outside the Department of Energy Friday.
The puppets will be on hand to raise awareness about nuclear reactor issues. The Department of Energy is attempting to rush $18.5 billion in “conditional” taxpayer loan guarantees to utilities proposing to build new reactors, but the projects being considered have all seen serious stumbling blocks.
The show will take place at 11 a.m.
