Lungren's intern gets congrats in Congressional Record

Rep. Dan Lungren (R-Calif.) made a special addition to the Congressional Record on Friday, congratulating his intern, Marc Wirtz, on getting engaged.
As Lungren described, Wirtz proposed to his girlfriend of four years, Amanda Haslam, at the top of the Capitol at sunset. Lungren wished them "the very best in their future together."
Lungren may know more about being an intern on Capitol Hill than many of his colleagues: During his years at Georgetown Law School in the early 1970's, Lungren worked for then-Sens. George Murphy (R-Calif.) and Bill Brock (R-Tenn.).
